Classes have moved!
We've moved our classes to the Christian Life Center, behind the First Christian Church, located at the corner of Broadway and Loop 323.
The schedule is still being worked out, and we're hoping to add more classes in the near future, but as for right now classes are meeting Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights from 6:00 to 8:00.
We may have moved locations, but we're still offering the best traditional Okinawan Karate, Kobudo, Tuide, and Filipino martial arts in Tyler, so stop by and try out a class today!

2021 OSMKKF GasshukuThe Gasshuku this year, while small, was an amazing success! We had a little over 60 karateka, from all over the country, make the trek to Tyler for four days of in depth training with some of the best instructors I've ever met. The Testing was truly a sight to behold, showcasing nearly every technique contained within the style, as there were FOUR people who successfully graded to Rokudan (6th degree black belt); a monumental feat in and of itself, but to have four do it together is unheard of.
2019 OSMKKF GasshukuKise Isao, Kaicho of the Okinawa Shorin-ryu Matsumura Karate and Kobudo federation returned to Tyler, Tx June 2019 for the yearly OSMKKF gasshuku, and a great time was had by all. We had nearly a full week of amazing karate training and fellowship with my fellow federation members from around the globe and can't wait to do it again.
Traditional Karate Tournament Returns!Tyler's only traditional karate and kobudo tournament was a resounding success, with only the best fellowship, competition, and amzing sportsmanship! We had nine schools, from three states, make the drive to Tyler to show their stuff.
More information can be found here! Women's Self-defense seminarEight people attended this fantastic seminar that had everyone smiling, working, sweating, and thinking by the time the morning was over. If you missed this one just stay tuned, we'll be having them more regularly now that we have our own space again!
GRAND OPENING / advanced workout Sept. 8thWe had 14 people (driving in from across three states!) join us on the floor, and several in support at the back of the room, for our new locations grand opening kickoff. It was an amazing day and we are immensly thankful for not only the outpouring of support for our new adventure, but for the hard work and dedication that was displayed both on and off the floor.
