2nd Annual Dojo Thanksgiving Dinner
Thanks to all of the students and their families for making the 2nd Annual dojo family Thanksgiving dinner an amazing success. It was a wonderful night with good food, and good conversation with great friends.
Class with Master KiseTyler Karate Academy hosted a class for Grand Master Fusei Kise on Thursday May 19th from 5:30pm-7pm. Thank you all for your help and dedication to our federation.

2nd Annual Tyler KenShinKan Tournament
Thank you to all who helped make this tournament a huge success! With over 200 people attending including participants, spectators and judges, it was twice as big as last year! We would like to recognize a few awards that were handed out. Most Students in attendance goes to Sensei Mike Vellion from Pine Forest Martial Arts! Highest Scoring school goes to Sensei John Shipes from Athens Karate School! Tomidachi was awarded to Robin and Dave Visniski for allowing us to use there space for the tournament. Thank you all for your continued support for our federation! We look forward to next year. Demo for Optimist Club
Words cannot express how proud we are of the students that participated in the demo. We will be donating the money they Optimist Club gave us to the summer camp savings account to help pay for camp. Thank you all for your dedication to making our school the best it can be.
Healthy Habits Health Fair
The Healthy Habits Fair demos went great! Thank you to all the students who came out and supported the school. A special thank you to Sensei Shipes in Athens and his students for helping make it a success!
Good Food & Friends at Dojo Thanksgiving!
I got nothing but compliments for the idea of having a dojo family thanksgiving, but sadly I can't take the credit. Mrs. Amy Pate cooked the idea up (pun intended) and all of the parents / students pitched in to make it a wonderful evening of food and fun. Can't wait to do it again.
3rd Annual Winter Testing a success!
The 3rd Annual winter testing, held at the Tyler Karate Academy on Saturday, November 6th, was a sight to behold. We had a high caliber of students from across the Southern US, who showed everyone what makes our Federation the best in the world. With a new greenbelt, a new brown belt, two new Shodans, a new Nidan, only the third person to complete Shihan Shipes' instructor certification process, and a new Yondan, there was a good representation of all the ranks.
Parents invade the Tyler Karate Academy
We would like to express how proud we are of everyone who participated in parents night this time, and made it a huge success. It was definitely a packed house with a total of 12 parents and 13 student instructors, with all the parents receiving an "Honorary White belt" certificate signed and presented by their student instructor. It was a great confidence booster for all the kids who tested the next week.
